BSNL to give CDMA mobiles in INR 300 subsidized phones & tablets

UPA government to launch subsidized phones & tablets using BSNL CDMA bandwidth 

UPA Government to give 90% subsidized smartphones and tablets before LokSabha polls. Government has identified central schools for distributing tablets. Phones will also be distributed in rural area.

All these services will be managed by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). BSNL will use CDMA bandwidth for operating these subsidized phones. 

Mobile phone owners can get these smartphones in just Rs 300/- and government will provide Rs 30/- recharge every month for next two months. BSNL will purchage these smartphones from related companies and whole scheme will be implemented in 4 years time period.

UPA government want to make an announcement before Lok Sabha 2014 elections to take the credit for launching a large scale scheme for public.
