CSK and RR banned for two years from IPL, their owners for life

Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals from Indian Premier League banned for two years to take a part following reports of betting activities by Guru Nath Meiyeppan and Raj Kundra

Supreme Court appointed three member committee headed by CJI RM Lodha gives verdict in a case of betting during IPL 2013 matches today on 14th July 2015. 

According to verdict, one of the most cinsistant performing teams of IPL CSK and RR are banned to participate in the event for two years. IN addition to, their mentors Guru Nath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra banned for life to take a part official in IPL activities.

Impact of court verdict on CSK and RR fans  

CSK and RR are very popular among their fans. Fans certainly get disappointed with the judgement. CSK is lead by Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
