Jan Dhan Yojana gets huge applause from people of India and banks get huge surge in opening of new accounts at their end with the promotion of central governemnt.

Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is a National Mission for Financial Inclusion of needy people to ensure access to financial services, namely  Banking/ Savings & Deposit Accounts, Credit, Remittance, Insurance and Pension from governemnt at old age in an easy manner.

Jan Dhan Yojana envisages coverage of all households in the country by 26.01.2015 with at least one bank account.
